*be accepted as such by the community in which they live or have lived. Applicants must provide a written statement confirming their Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander heritage. In addition they are required to provide a signed statement in writing from the Aboriginal Heritage Association, Aboriginal Corporation or Land Council of the community in which they live or have lived, confirming the above.

To apply for the above scholarship / award / grant you should submit the following documents and should possess the following:
*Charlie Perkins Trust application form [Word doc.]
*Curriculum Vitae (CV)
*an official transcript of university results (including mid-year results if available)
*confirmation of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent through a signed written statement (including common seal) of an Aboriginal Heritage Association, Aboriginal Corporation or Land Council in the community where you live or have lived
*five referees (three of which should be academic referees) should forward written reports to email@example.com and firstname.lastname@example.org. The references should highlight your capabilities, your past contribution to the Indigenous community, and the perceived future benefit of doing your chosen course. One of your references should be from an Elder in your community, and should highlight your connection to the community).
Once all the information has been received by Oxford or Cambridge University and the assessment of the submitted documents is complete, you will be informed about your selection in the same.
