The following documents are required before the application can be processed:
o Completed application form
o Official transcripts for highest degree attained
o Study plan (statement of intent)
o Two (2) letters of recommendation
o Copy of results or certificate for the Test of Chinese as a Foreign Language (TOCFL) – Level 3 or above
o Photocopy of applicant’s passport
o Proof of application to a selected Taiwan university
(Applicants must apply directly to the schools which are included in the Association of Taiwan Scholarship Program Schools of their choice.)
All documents above must be received by our office no later than March 31, 2015.
We only accept applications from IA, IL, IN, MI, MN, NE, OH, WI, ND and SD.
The list of successful applicants will be announced at the end of April, 2015. These applicants are required to submit proof of admission from the Taiwanese universities they intend to attend before the end of June.

Scholarship applicants must also apply directly to the language centers which are included in the language centers list of their choice.

The successful applicants will be announced at the end of April, 2015. In order to confirm the awards, these applicants are required to submit proof of admission by the language center they intend to study in Taiwan before the date requested in the announcement.
