International Masters Scholarships for Incoming Mobility in France, 2015-2016

The Université Paris-Saclay would like to give foreign students access to its master’s (nationally-certified degree) programs provided in its member establishments and to make it easier for highly-qualified foreign students to attend its University especially those wishing to develop an academic project through research up to the doctoral level.

Consequently, 190 scholarships will be offered for the 2015-2016 academic year. They will be awarded for one or two years depending on whether the student enters the 1st or 2nd year of a master’s program (M1 or M2).

Beneficiaries:

Students wishing to obtain a master’s degree in one of Paris-Saclay University’s member establishments (entering an M1 or an M2 directly). Does not apply to internships and work-study programs.

Eligibility criteria:

   The program is available for first-time arrivals, aged 30 years old or less the year of acceptance.
   The program only applies to non-French national students.
   In parallel, the candidate must submit an application online through the Paris-Saclay University website: https://apply-tc.ecp.fr/

Amount of financial aid and student accommodations:

   The Université Paris-Saclay scholarship is 10,000€ per year awarded by the establishment the candidate is registered in for the duration of the academic year and for a period of no less than 10 consecutive months per year.
   A maximum of 1,000€ for travel and VISA expenses is also awarded depending on the candidate’s country of origin.
   The scholarship does not cover tips for internships and cannot be cumulated with any other scholarship.
   The scholarship will be suspended if internship tips exceed 600€.
   Paris-Saclay University scholarship recipients must follow their program (courses and internship) in one of Paris-Saclay University’s establishments. The scholarship will be suspended during the time the student attends courses or performs an internship in another establishment in France or abroad or in a company outside the perimeter of Paris-Saclay. If, during the program, the student spends time studying abroad, the scholarship will be interrupted during the time the student is abroad, with no possibility to defer the scholarship.
   Students are welcomed in the establishments they are registered in, establishments that commit to helping them find living accommodations.


Applications:

Applications, validated by the International Relations Division of the establishment applied to, must be submitted on line by the person responsible for the master’s program.
Supporting documents must all be in the same file (PDF) and named as follows: last name_first name_establishment.pdf (ex: Dupond_Thomas_UPSUD.pdf).
Incomplete applications will not be processed.

Results:

After the results are announced, the student will have 8 days to confirm acceptance of the scholarship. After this date, it will be assumed that the student refuses the scholarship.
The Université Paris-Saclay reserves the right to refuse or end attribution of the scholarship if the provided information has been proven false.

L’Université Paris-Saclay souhaite promouvoir l’ouverture internationale des formations de master (Diplôme National) dispensées au sein des établissements membres et faciliter ainsi l’accueil d’étudiants internationaux de haut niveau notamment ceux désirant développer un projet de formation par la recherche jusqu’au niveau doctoral.

Ainsi, 190 bourses d’accueil seront proposées pour l’année universitaire 2015-2016. Elles seront accordées pour 1 ou 2 ans en fonction du niveau d’intégration (M1 ou M2).

Bénéficiaires :

Etudiants souhaitant préparer un diplôme de master dans un des établissements membre de l’Université Paris-Saclay (intégration en M1 ou directement en M2) hors alternance et apprentissage.

Critères d’éligibilité :

• Le programme s’adresse aux étudiants internationaux primo-arrivants, âgés de 30 ans maximum dans l’année de sélection.
  
• Le programme est réservé aux étudiants de nationalité étrangère.
  
• Le candidat devra en parallèle candidater à une inscription en ligne sur le site de l’Université Paris-Saclay : https://apply-tc.ecp.fr/

Montant de l’aide financière et accueil des étudiants :

• La bourse de l’Université Paris-Saclay s’élève à 10 000€ par an. Elle est versée par l’établissement d’inscription du candidat pour toute la durée de l’année universitaire et pour un séjour qui ne peut être inférieur à 10 mois consécutif par an.
  
• Une indemnisation forfaitaire maximale de 1 000€ pour les frais de voyage et de VISA est également attribuée en fonction du pays de provenance du candidat.
  
• La bourse ne couvre pas les éventuelles gratifications de stage et n’est pas cumulable avec tout autre type de bourse.
  
• La bourse sera suspendue dans le cas où une gratification de stage dépasserait 600€.
  
• Les boursiers de l’Université Paris-Saclay ont l’obligation de suivre leurs cursus (cours et stage) dans un des établissements de l’Université Paris-Saclay. Le versement de la bourse sera suspendu pour la période d’étude ou de stage effectué dans un autre établissement en France ou à l’étranger ou dans une entreprise en dehors du périmètre Paris-Saclay. Dans le cas où le cursus prévoit un échange universitaire international, le versement de la bourse sera interrompu pendant la période effectuée à l’étranger, sans report possible de la bourse.
  
• L’accueil des étudiants est assuré par les établissements d’inscription qui s’engagent à aider les boursiers dans la recherche d’un logement.
  

 

Dépôt de la candidature :

La candidature, validée par la Direction des Relations Internationales de l’établissement d’inscription doit être déposée en ligne par le responsable de master.
Tout dossier incomplet ne sera pas instruit.
Aucune candidature directe d'étudiant ne sera prise en compte.

Résultats :

Après l’annonce des résultats, l’étudiant aura alors un délai de 8 jours pour confirmer l’acceptation de la bourse. Au-delà de cette date, celui-ci sera considéré comme démissionnaire de l’appel.
L’Université Paris-Saclay se réserve le droit de refuser ou de mettre un terme à l’octroi de la bourse si les informations déclarées s’avéraient fausses.
